This type of research is descriptive which was carried out through surveys and data analysis using SPSS. The research results show that stand age has a positive effect on the amount of biomass and carbon stock produced. In 6 year old stands the average biomass = 12.23 tonnes/ha, and carbon 5.72 tonnes/ha, in 10 year old stands the average biomass = 23.23 tonnes/ha and carbon 10.87 tonnes/ha, 15 year old stands had an average biomass = 35.07 tons/ha and carbon 16.45 tons/ha. The correlation between age and biomass obtained by the equation The higher the age, the larger the stand diameter so that more biomass and carbon are produced. In addition, the high content of c-organics in the soil can maintain soil health levels.
2022-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://jurnal.pasca.untad.ac.id/index.php/MitraSains/article/view/339 Physiological Responses of Local Goat Fed by Green Concentrate 2024-03-20T01:42:27+00:00 Murtry Wahyuningsih murtryningsihw@gmail.com Abdullah Naser murtryningsihw@gmail.com Sirajuddin Abdullah murtryningsihw@gmail.com
This research aims to determine the physiological response of local goats fed green concentrates in the form of Indigofera zollingeriana, Sesbania grandiflora and Gliricidiasepium. This research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design with the first factor being 3 types of nuts and the second factor being 3 treatment levels (60%, 70% and 80%). The results of the study showed that body weight gain and efficiency of forage use for goats fed Gamal Green Concentrate were significantly lower than Turi and Tarum Green concentrates, however consumption of local dry goat content gave the same results. However, based on statistical tests, goats fed green concentrate had no significant effect on the status of goat physiology. The body temperature of local goats given 80% green concentrate was higher compared to 60% green concentrate and 70% green concentrate. The pulse frequency and respiratory frequency of local goats given 60% green concentrate were higher compared to 70% green concentrate and 80% green concentrate. However, based on statistical tests, goats fed green concentrate had no significant effect on the status of goat physiology.
2022-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://jurnal.pasca.untad.ac.id/index.php/MitraSains/article/view/341 Effect of Hatching Depth on Hatchability and Length of Incubation of Maleo Egss 2024-03-20T01:42:28+00:00 La Emi Rimu laemirimu@gmail.com Sri Ningsih Mallombasang laemirimu@gmail.com Mobius Tanari laemirimu@gmail.com
This research aims to determine the appropriate depth of the hatching hole in order to increase hatchability and shorten the incubation time for Maleo eggs. The research design used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 hatching tests with depths: K1 (40 cm), 50 cm, 60 and 70 cm with 5 repetitions. The variables observed consisted of hatching hole temperature, hatching humidity, incubation time and hatchability. Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 2.1. Anova results showed that the treatment had a high significant effect (P<0.01) on hatch hole temperature and hatch hole humidity. The conclusion from the results of this research is that the treatment that provides the shortest hatching time and the highest hatchability is the K3 treatment (60cm depth) with an average hatching temperature of 33.40 0C (range 33-34 0C) and an average hatching humidity of 62.40% (range 60 – 74%), in the Maleo Saluki Population Development Demonstration TNLL because it is capable of hatching up to 100% with an average incubation time of 69 days (range 65 – 74 days).
2022-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://jurnal.pasca.untad.ac.id/index.php/MitraSains/article/view/342 The Relationship of Motivation and Job Satisfaction on the Performance of Forestry Extensions 2024-03-20T01:42:29+00:00 Selfi Selfi epingkc@gmail.com Golar Golar epingkc@gmail.com Hasriani Muis epingkc@gmail.com
This research aims to describe and analyze the profile, level of motivation, job satisfaction and performance of forestry instructors at the Lore Lindu National Park Office (LLNPO). The research results show that the profile of forestry instructors is "young" (under 30 years), and has relatively recent work experience. Currently, their work experience is generally less than 10 years. However, formally the level of education is "high" (bachelor's degree). Motivation and level of job satisfaction of forestry instructors are classified as "good". This means that forestry instructors are satisfied with their work and performance as forestry instructors. The results of the analysis also show that the performance level of forestry instructors is in the "medium" category. However, forestry instructors do not fully understand the planned activities so they cannot be implemented optimally. This can affect the fulfillment of the credit score that will be submitted as a condition for promotion. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, it shows that there is no significant relationship between the profile and job satisfaction of forestry instructors and their performance, but there is a real relationship between the work motivation of forestry instructors and their performance.
2022-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://jurnal.pasca.untad.ac.id/index.php/MitraSains/article/view/349 Orchid-Based Natural Tourism Development Potential in the Traditional Zone of Lore Lindu National Park (Case Study of Karunia Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency) 2024-03-20T01:42:29+00:00 Adhitya Sukarno Widodo adhityasukarno@gmail.com Sri Ningsih Mallombasang adhityasukarno@gmail.com Naharuddin Naharuddin adhityasukarno@gmail.com
This research aims to determine the feasibility of orchid-based natural tourism potential in the Karunia Village TNLL Traditional Area and determine the strategy for developing orchid-based natural tourism in the Karunia Village TNLL Area. Research was carried out through surveys and interviews equipped with a list of questions (questionnaire). Based on the research results, it is known that the potential for orchid-based natural tourism in the Karunia Village TNLL Traditional Area is worthy of being developed into a tourist destination because: (1) it has a tourist attraction in the form of an abundance of orchids both in nature and in captivity, the presence of unique and endemic flora and fauna , there is a river with protruding rocks, clear water and beautiful natural scenery, a calm and comfortable atmosphere and many variations of tourist activities that can be done. Finished. (2) lack of adequate tourist facilities, and (3) relatively easy accessibility with fairly good road conditions.
2022-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://jurnal.pasca.untad.ac.id/index.php/MitraSains/article/view/346 Lore Lindu National Park Forest Fire Control Strategy 2024-03-20T01:42:29+00:00 Syukur Asa syukurasa12@gmail.com Adam Malik syukurasa12@gmail.com Sudirman Dg. Massiri syukurasa12@gmail.com
Forest fire is one of disturbances of the Lore Lindu National Park (LLNP) area caused by the people who live around LLNP. The purposes of this study were to develop a fire control strategy in LLNP area. The research was conducted through survey and interview activities which were completed with a list of questions (questionnaires). Respondents were selected by purposive sampling. Moreover, data analysis used descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the types is surface forest fires with socio-cultural caused by the community around the LLNP area. Furthemore, the strategy for control forest fire is by empowering local communities in controling forest fires in LLNP.
2022-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
